Rock for People festival is one of the largest and oldest Czech multi-genre festivals. Every year it brings the biggest music stars to Park 360, along with undiscovered talents from all over the world. In 2022, the festival rose to the top of the European festival league, when the jury of the European Festival Awards ranked it among the Top 10. The organisers aim to repeat that success in 2023. In addition to the music programme, which numbers over a hundred bands and performers each year, the organisers are also preparing a varied supporting programme in the form of theatres, dance performances, discussion panels, lectures and secret shows. The Rock for People festival is also a pioneer in the field of sustainability and ecology. Uses renewable and alternative energy sources (hydrogen, solar and wind), sorts seventeen types of waste, backs up beverage containers, increases the proportion of plant-based and meat-free diets, or promotes mass and shared forms of transportation. In addition to its sustainable approach, it is also committed to education.
