About Event

Since 1995, Rock for People has been delivering world-class experiences and supporting the new generation of modern rock in all its forms. Each day’s program is carefully curated to include a diverse selection of energetic guitar music, featuring both popular bands and newcomers that thousands of people come to the festival to discover. Over five days, it will feature over two hundred musical performers and dozens of accompanying programs in the form of theater, dance, lectures, and workshops. Rock for People stands out in that sustainability and inclusion are not side projects, but form strong pillars of the festival. The goal is to achieve climate neutrality for Park 360 by 2030. The festival also uses renewable and alternative energy sources (hydrogen, sun, and wind), sorts seventeen types of waste, deposits beverage containers, increases the proportion of plant-based and meat-free food, and promotes mass and shared forms of transport. In addition to its sustainable approach, it has also been committed to education for a long time. Rock for People is wheelchair accessible, allowing fans with disabilities to enjoy the program to the fullest thanks to the adapted venue and other services. It also breaks down barriers between generations. Every year, it brings more than 200 seniors from Hradec Králové to see Czech legends perform, such as Marie Rottrová in 2025.

The Rock for People festival is organized by Ameba Production, which also organizes dozens of concerts a year under the RFP Concerts banner. In 2025, Rock for People celebrated its 30th anniversary in style, headlined by Linkin Park, Slipknot, Guns N’ Roses, Sex Pistols, and Avenged Sevenfold, and for the first time as a five-day festival, setting another first in the Czech Republic. A record 50,000 visitors attended, and the festival set the bar very high in the eyes of fans and the media. Park 360 in Hradec Králové also hosted two mega-concerts by global star Ed Sheeran and a show by Bryan Adams. Ameba Production also runs the popular baby punk Kefír festival and co-organizes the music conference and showcase festival Prague Music Week.
