Obscene Extreme

The legendary Obscene Extreme festival is leaving Trutnov’s Bojiště, where it has been held since 1999. The next edition will take place July 7–11, 2027, at Park 360! Among the first confirmed bands are American legends Gwar, the absolutely essential English extreme metal band Napalm Death, the punk powerhouse from Scotland The Exploited, the Mexican-American masked band Brujeria, the Japanese grindcore band 324, and many others.

Obscene Extreme began in 1999 as a birthday celebration with friends and has grown into one of the world’s most famous independent extreme music festivals. It operates without sponsors or public funding, relying solely on fan support and merchandise sales, as reflected in its motto, “IN FANS WE TRUST.” Each year, up to 85 bands perform at the festival, which attracts approximately 5,000 attendees.
